5 things you always wanted to know about Kari:

If I didn't have to work on Tuesday, I would...
play golf at the Taconic, go snowboarding in VT or take my kids on an adventure.

Five songs in heavy rotation:
something From Nothing, Foo Fighters; Tessellate, alt-J; She Knows, J. Cole; Percussion Gun, White Rabbits; One Way Trigger, The Strokes

My first car was a...
teal-green 1992 (?) Volvo 240 Sedan. It was a box and I absolutely loved that car. It was totaled in an accident when my parents were driving on 128, and I’m positive that car’s safety features saved their lives.

What the world needs now is...
more compassion and less hyperbole.

Back in the day, I was...
a metalhead. The first big concert I went to was Judas Priest with Megadeth opening for them at the then Worcester Centrum. Heavy metal is quite therapeutic when you're stuck in traffic on the Mass Pike.
